Chapter 90 - Akane

GUEST ROOM

Everyone from the Yokohama Company had set up everything in just a few minutes and they are now waiting for SHishio to enter the room so that they could start their interview.

Akane,the reporterwhom are going to interview him are seated at the table with her assistant,Yukana beside her to write everything down into the computer.

Yukana : Check on you mic Akane.                    

AKane : Its good.Everything is fine.How do I look?

Yukana : Perfect as always (laughing)

Akane : I hate wearing red actually.I look like a living corpse don’t you think?

Yukana : Correction AKane,a living doll you mean? The wardrobe staff really loves you wearing red since you have super fair skin (smiling)

Yukana then continued to check on her mic and earphone and Akane turned around to one of the staff to check on the setting.

A few minutes later,the door to the room slide opened and Shouji came in first before welcoming Shishio into the room.

Shishio walked slowly into the room and bowed to the staffs in the room before turning to Akane’s and Yukana’s direction.

Shishio didn’t get to look at Akane’s face yet since Akane was facing the other side and when he finally sat at the table which are opposite of Akane,the staff gave the cue to start.

Shishio then saw Akane and suddenly he was frozen with his eyes locked at Akane.

Akane : *bowing . Good evening Mizushima-san. Thank you for having us here,the Yokohama Tower Records team and Yokohama fm  in your palace.We are very delighted to be interviewing you this evening.I am Arisawa Akane and this is my assistant Kuriyami Yukana.

Shishio : ……

Akane : (looking at Shishio)

SHouji whom are standing behind SHishio tap on his shoulder gently

SHishio : (shocked) Oh!Oh my god.I am so sorry for that.You are welcome.very much welcome in the palace(smiling)

Ishia : (grinning)

Akane realized that Shishio seems to be disturbed by something but then she was indeed actually captivated by the guy dresses in a dark blue yukata infront of him.He look better face to face she thought.

Akane : I am so sorry if having many staffs in the room would make you uncomfortable Mizushima-san (smiles)

Shishio : No ,not at all.I am perfectly fine.And Im looking forward to answer all your questions  Arisawa-san .

Akane : Well,then.Shall we proceed? (smiles)

AFTER THE INTERVIEW

All the staffs are busy packing every thing into the vans while AKane and Yukana are busy talking to the members of the palace.

Ishia : Arisawa-san,I have to say that I have never seen any reporter as beautiful as you!

Akane : (blushing) I am so humbled to hear that Ishia-san.

Ishia : Would you love to have some tea with us after this?

Akane : Im afraid I have to get going Ishia-san.I would have to follow the van to get back to the office--

Yukana : Well,we can take the taxi to go back.Plus,I really really love to look around the palace.Not as a reported but as a visitor…wait,is visitors allowed here Ishia-san?

Ishia : (laughing) Special case for both of you!You are so welcome to look around Kuriyami-san.

Yukana : ….. well then,I’ll start with the garden then (laughing)

Akane : (panicked) Ishia-san,I don’t think we can--

Ishia : Don’t worry Arisawa-san.I would love to chat with you and have tea together.Seems like we can get along very nicely don’t you think?And about the taxi thing.Dont fret,I can have the driver to send you back.

Yukana: I’ll tell the staffs then

Yukana without any second thoughts ran towards the staff to tell them about their plan since she really loves the palace since the palace are filled with greens and flowers.

Akane : (speechless) I apologize for all the troubles Ishia-san.Seems like Yukana wants to look at the greens in the palace.She is such a nature lover after all.

Ishia : don’t mention it Arisawa-san.I would love to have you around longer after all.Lets go to the tea room then?

Akane hesitated at first but looking Ishia’s hopeful face,she then nodded and followed Ishia .

TEA ROOM

Ishia : Here you go.I hope you love green tea?

Akane : My favorite (smiles)

Ishia : Be at ease Arisawa-san.I hope you feel comfortable here (smiles)

AKane : (smiling)

Ishia : I am so curious about your age.How old are you?

Akane : I am turning 24 this year.

Ishia : (shocked) I thought you were older!

Akane : Do I look old?

Ishia : Eh!No no!Dont get me wrong !I was implying you look so professional as a reporter to be this young after all!I was expectin 25 or 26 like that.

Akane : (chuckling)

Ishia : you really are beautiful.Its quite rare to have such attractive reporters around the palace (laughing)

Akane : (blushed)

Ishia : What do you think about Shishio?

Akane : Shishio?

As soon as Akane realized she just said “Shishio”  ,she quickly ccoverd her mouth and panicked

Akane : I am so sorry.I meant,Mizuhara-san.

Ishia : You are so funny Arisawa-san (laughing)

Akane : What do I think about Mizuhara-san?

Ishia : (nodding)

Akane : From a reporter perspective,Mizuhara-san is a very very professional.By looking at how he addresses everyone in the room including me,he seems to be such a respectful person indeed.And he is one dedicated actor towards the Kabuki Theatre .

Ishia : What about from you personal perspective?

Akane : Eh?(shocked)

Ishia : Im sorry if my question made you feel uncomfortable …

Akane : No no,not at all.Just now was my first time seeing him right infront of my face and surprisingly he looks better compared to in tv shows.

Ishia : you watch him in tvs?

Akane : Several times I suppose.He appeared in HotWave before and some of the plays are aired during special occasions.

Ishia : Hmm hmmmm(nodding)

Akane : Eh!I am not saying that he does not look good on screen!I mean that he looks much better off screen.Wait,what am I saying actually…But if you ask from my personal point of view.He is one charming man with many good traits.Something you can see when you first met someone.Someone like him cant hide the positive vibes surrounding him. It is like a charm to be him after all.

Ishia was so shocked to hear the words coming out from Akane’s mouth and Ishia knew for instance that Akane is actually attracted to Shishio.

Before Ishia could say anything suddenly the door to the tea room slided open and a man apparead at the door frame.

Ishia : (shocked)

Ishia quickly stood up and bowed to the man standing at the door frame.

Akane was so surprised with Ishia’s sudden action that she quickly stood too and look at elderly man walking towards her.

Ishia : Mizuhara-sama *bows

Edo looked at Akane and walked towards her.

AKane : *bowing

Akane was actually trembling because she was so surprised to see the leader of the Mizuhara family is in the same room as her and he was looking straight at her.She was worried if any of her words were heard by him.

Edo :  Your name ?

Akane : (shocked)

Ishia : (confused)

Edo : Your name,dear young lady (smiles)

Akane : (hesitating) A…Arisawa..Akane-des *bowing

Edo : Are you married Akane?

Akane : eh?

Edo : Are you?

Akane : (shaking her head)

Edo : Well then,from what I heard.You seems to be so mesmerized by eldest son,Shishio.

Akane : (shocked)

Edo : What if I have something to propose to you?

Ishia : (confused)

Akane : Propose?Wait,what?Propose?

Akane’s face was so unreadable since she is torn between being so shocked and confused at the same time

.

Edo : I would love to propose to you on behalf of my eldest son Shishio.(smiles)

Akane : (shocked)

Ishia : (excited)

Akane almost faint because of the sudden question but then gather her guts to lift her head and look at Edo.

Akane : What do you mean by propose?

Edo : A marriage proposal Akane-san.

Akane : (speechless)

Akane mouth were left opened because she suddenly forgot how to breathe and as if the world is turning upside down.She felt as the ground are sucking her in because all of a sudden the thoughts of getting a proposal from a very unexpected person is clearly a very unexpected thing after all.She was lost in her thoughts for a while trying to digest every single word that the man in black yukata said to her just now.
