Chapter 2

THE NEXT DAY

At a small corner of the town ,near the KABUKI PALACE located at one end of Tokyo. There are streets of garden and small shops in front of the palace and it was indeed very busy but not as busy at the Central of Tokyo.

Mika : Now now ,Tsuzuku should have told me this palace is near to this shop!

Narumi : Eh!Mika-san!What are you doing here early in the morning?

Narumi is a middle aged woman, Minami’s friend who owns a small flower shop with a mini bakery .Narumi has been taking care of Mika since she moved in into Haruna’s house.She has daughter Saki,who works as a teacher at one of the Secondary School in that area.

Mika : I have work today Narumi-san.I have a favor to ask(smiles)

Narumi : Sure my sweet,anything.

Mika : (unzipping her leather jacket) Mind if I park my bike here?And leave  my riding jacket for the day?

Narumi : Anything for you.I’ll have Saki to keep your leather jacket safe alright?

Mika : Thank you so much Narumi-san!I owe you!

Narumi : First day of work ?

Mika : indeed!I must get going!See you !(waves)

Narumi : Good luck Mika-san!

Mika prefer to walk or maybe appear as a normal young girl by walking to the palace from Narumi’s shop which took only few minutes and that eases everything for her.

She arrived at the main gate and she saw that the small gate is unlocked.Maybe,there were expecting her indeed.

Mika : Now,what.(walked in)

Mika closed the door behind her and to her surprise,the palace has a very beautiful garden and small fish ponds in between the small bridges and flowers.

Mika : Beautiful…

Shouji : Young lady?You must be the new girl?

Mika : New girl?

Shouji : IM sorry,I mean the new assistant to our Young Man?

Mika :Young man?Ah yes.I am Mika.Call me Mika.

Shouji : What a beautiful name.Call me Shouji.I am the leader of the housekeeping here.I shall lead you to your workplace.

Mika : Alright,thank you so much Shouji-san

Shouji : How old are you young lady?

Mika : I am 23 this year.

Shouji : Half my age!You sure are young and energetic! And old man like me would nothave that much energy like these youth nowadays(laughing)

Mika : Youth are scary indeed.

Shouji : Im glad you understand despite you are young too,Mika-san.Alright,this is our Young Man’s room.You may wait here until I call Yumi to assist you alright Mika.Dont be afraid.Nothing is gonna harm you here(winks)

Mika : NO worries,Shouji-san.I am perfectly fine.(smiles)

Shouji closed the sliding door and went to main working room

Mika is left alone in the room and her eyes eyed everything in the room.She did that because she was feeling a wee bit nervous and she thought she missed having that feeling. Mika saw a few photos on the cupboard and it was too far she cant make up the faces.Suddenly,there was a knock on the door and a middle aged woman dressed in pale brown yukata came in.

Yumi : Good Morning my dear.You must be the new assistant?I am Ishia Yumi.Nice to meet you (smiles)

Mika thought she had never saw a very bright smile until now that she cant take her eyes off the beautiful Yumi.

Mika : (snapped out ) Oh yes yes,I am Mika.Nice to meet you Ishia-san.(bows)

Yumi : Alright,since you are new.I will guide on your tasks of  being Shinn’s assistant.I  mean,Mizuhara-sama.

Mika : (nods)

Yumi explained all the tasks of being the personal assistant to the youngest member of the MIzuhara family and it took only about 5 minutes and she was done.

Yumi : that will be all.No hard work.So no worries.Mizuhara-sama is not so traditional so you guys can match.I mean,you guys can get along.Except that,I don’t think you are the type that gets angry easily right?

Mika :it depends..

Yumi :One thing only,MIzuhara-sama is very picky and annoying(laughing) But I am very very sure you are better at handling him rather than the pervious ones.

Mika : Previous ones?

Yumi : yes,we had about 20 of them for the past few months.And all of them were fired by him.tragic I know.I hope you can stay longer compared to the one before this.

Mika : May I ask,how long did the previous one last?

Yumi : About 3 hours.

Mika :Are you kidding me.

Yumi : I like you already!

Mika : Eh?

Yumi : that could be a first for an answer since 2 years ago I suppose.Usually I will get answers like “ I will be the best and stud” the previous ones are useless and most of them are more interested about Mizuhara-sama.

Mika : How is that possible damn it.

Yumi : I really really like you now.(laughed)Alright,I should get going now.He should be here anytime soon so,make yourself comfortable alright Mika-san?

Yumi stood and bows before leaving the room

Mika :Interesting job I have here(sigh)

Mila walked around the big empty room to look at the photos and she looked at them one by one.

Mika : So this must be that Shinn.So old… he must be what.45? or maybe 55? Or wait,65.

Hiro : That is the eldest brother.

Mika : (shocked and turned around)

Hiiro was leaning at the door frame looking at her.

Hiiro : Don’t be shocked.Came by to say hi.I am Hiiro.Nice to meet you.

Mika :Mika.Nice to meet you.*bows

Hiiro : I want to chat longer but I’ll make sure we will but I have to go now.See you soon!(walked towards the main gate)

Mika : that was damn random.What just happened.(shakes her head)

MEANWHILE AT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PALACE

Yumi : He is here?

Shouji : Eh?you didn’t met him while briefing Mika?

Yumi : I didn’t!

Suzu (the driver) : He was in complete anger when he got into the car.Didnt know what has gotten into him.I am sure there will be another hole,or holes on the wall…

Shouji and Yumi : SERIOUS!?

Shouji : You didn’t left Mika in his room right?

Suzu : Who is Mika?

Yumi : I did! Oh my,I am so dead.

Shouji :We have to get going.

Suzu : Wait,what what?

Yumi : Shut up Suzu,follow us!

Shouji and Yumi quickly ran towards Shinn’s room,Suzu trying hard to follow them because both of them walked too fast

Yumi : You should have told me he has arrived Suzu!

Suzu : I was about alright,was about!(panting)

Shouji : God save us please
