Chapter 101- Junko

KABUKI PALACE

Edo : Shishio? Have you seen Shinn?

Shishio was playing with his very own pet, Kuro,the black cat when his father walked into the garden.

Shishio : I haven’t seen him since lunch time otou-san..Probably with oka-san?

Edo : These two people just cant be separated don’t they (laughs)

GARDEN

A lady with a very soft black hair tied in a bun was sitting on the marble bench under the big tree in the middle of the garden.She was holding a small kid in her arms, closed to her.

Junko : When you grow up,my son.You will find that not everything in this world is unworthy to be fought for alright?

Shinn whom were just playing with his fingers looked at his beautiful soft mother and smiled.

Shinn : I’ll promise you that I will make you happy oka-san.No one can hurt you.If anyone hurt you,I’ll shoot that bad guy with my water gun !

Junko : (laughs)

Shinn : (playing with his fingers)

Junko : One day,you will find someone that you will fight for Shinn. It wont be me forever (smiles)

Edo walked towards them and tapped on Junko’s shoulder.

Edo: Can you at least spare some time for your lonely husband here?(chuckling)

Junko : Someone is jealous here….

Edo : Don’t you think so too,Shinn?

Shinn  : Think about what Otou-san? (confused)

Edo : Don’t you want to spend some time with me,your father?

Shinn : But…I love oka-san.I love otou-san too…

Junko : We know you love both of us Shinn.We love both love you too,more than anything (smiles)

Shinn : I want to be with oka-san and otou-san forever! Even in heaven later!

Junko just smiled looking at her very own little kid whom are running around the garden indulging himself in his thoughts.

Edo : You and Shinn,cant be separated at all (sigh)

Junko : Pretty much I am so attached to him.

Edo : Did you forget something?

Junko : (turning to Edo)

Edo : (lifting his eyebrows)

Junko :What?

Edo : Me?

Junko : (laughing)

Edo : ….?

Junko : You jealous old man!

Edo : (laughing)

3 YEARS LATER

HOSPITAL

Shinn and Shishio were seated at  the seats outside of the ward.Ishia and Shouji were taking care of both of them while Edo settled all the documents in the room.

The news of the passing of Junko has certainly strike the mood of everyone from the Kabuki household. Nobody has spoken anything to Edo since he received the heart-breaking news.NO one utters a word,not even Shinn and Shishio.

WARD

Edo looked at the lifeless body of his late wife,lying on the white bed looking so calm as if she is still alive. The soft smile on her mouth has never even left her face even if the soul has left the body. Edo didn’t cry or weep at all.He just simply look at her face and sat beside her.Despite the bandages that is wrapped on her neck and head,she still look peaceful and harmless

Edo : God has lend me such a beautiful angel,it’s time that you return back to where you belong Junko.Im sorry Emi couldn’t come here to see you for the last time.I hope you understand your daughter.She wont even talk to anyone after all.Not even me.She needs her mother Junko…

Edo leaned forward and kiss Junko’s cold forehead for the very last time and finally covering her face with the white sheet.

Edo : Goodnight,my angel.(smiles)
