FLASH BACK

FRANCE

Caroline : Wait what?

Eiji : (rubbhing his head)

Caroline : You called me out for a date to dump me?

Eiji : I am not dumping you,I am just..I just.

Caroline :After all of this,you just want to dump me?

Eiji : Its not like we are meant to be together forever.Fate changes.

Caroline whom were sitting on the bench with her light blonde hair falling over her red coat got up and walked towards Eiji.

Caroline : Who are you to talk about fate when all this time you told me you never believe in fate.

Eiji : I had to leave you.The feelings are gone.

Caroline : I don’t know if I should tell you I feel so offended or not but even if its not me,other girl would feel so offended to the level I can do this.

Eiji : do what?       

                      

Caroline took a deep breathe,holding all the coldness all to her self and let out a big sigh

Caroline pushed her crepe into Eiji’s arms and splash her coffee on his face.

Eiji : What did you just --

Caroline : Im humiliating you.And I hope you can analysis this as afate,Eiji. You are so cheap.

Eiji : Oh come one! You spilled this coffee on me just because I dump you?

Caroline : You haven’t dump me yet.I dumped you first.So long you cheapskate.

Caroline turned around walked towards the bus station and not looking back.She left the coffee covered Eiji speechless and she knew she had done the right thing.

Takeru whom were stalking them from the telephone booth few metres away was so shocked when he saw Caroline did that.Takeru was still in his school uniform as he just got back from his after-school tution at the academy .

BUS STATION

Caroline was sitting on the bench not moving an inch at all.Her thought are are messed up after what had happened just now at the garden.

Caroline : I cant accept the fact that Shiki was right.

Euginie : Marie!

Caroline whom are called Marie back when she was in high school,turn to the the dark haired lady named Euginie and stood up.

Euginie : What are you doing here?I thought you were suppose to be out dating with Eiji-san~

Caroline : What dating?I dumped him.

Euginie : you what!? That hot Japanese guy?You dumped him!?

Caroline : He is hot?

Euginie : That is what the other girls in my class says…

Caroline : Are you heading home Euginie?

Euginie : Yes!Finished my homework with Julie .She headed home with Franc.

Caroline : Come,lets walk together?

Euginie: Something happened between you and Eiji-san eh?

Caroline : (laughing)

YEARS LATER

Caroline whom just arrived in Tokyo after he long flight from France sat on one of the couch in the café.

Caroline : I hope my Japanese are not that rotten …

Caroline took out her phone and dialed up her Aunty’s number.She kept looking left and right just incase she missed out something.

Meiko : Marie!

Caroline : Im already here!

Meiko : Eh? I thought it was suppose to be 2 hours from now…

Caroline : Eh ? Did mother told you that?

Meiko : Yes yes,She told me that your place was suppose to arrive in another 2 hours!?

Caroline : Im already here (laughing)

Meiko : Oh my god.Im so sorry .I’ll drive fast!

Caroline : Don’t worry .Take your time!IM fine here.

Meiko : Im hanging up!

Caroline slumped herself on the couch and untied her long blonde hair and let it loose. She removed her royal blue trench coat and put it on the arm-rest of the couch.She ordered a hot drink to ease the shivers since she stepped outside of the plane just now.

Caroline rummaged through her coat to get her purse and passport but then she panicked when she cant find them at all.She then checked the sling bag she was carrying together with the luggage but she still cant find them at all

Caroline : Oh shit.(face palm)

Caroline’s face changed instantly when she realized her purse and passport are not with her.

Caroline : How the heck am Im gonna pay for this…

Caroline stayed at the café,sipping her unpaid chocolate drink while thinking on what is she gonna do without her purse and passport later.

Caroline tried to find any credit cards that she can use to pay for the drink and after a while rummaging throught her brown big bad ,she let a sigh of relief when she found none of her cards.

Caroline called the waiter to ask for the bill but then she was shocked when the waiter said,the bill is paid.

Caroline : What?

Waiter : Your bill is paid and here is the cake your ordered.This is paid too,miss.(smiles)

Caroline froze when the waiter told her the drink and the cake which she didn’t even order are paid.

Caroline : Wait wait..who paid this?

Waiter : The guy whom were sitting at the second table from the main entrance (poiting at the empty table)

Caroline : Wait,what?

Waiter : Didn’t you see him?He was wearing a black turtle neck and a grey jeans just now.He came after you came in miss.

Caroline : Ahh..okay…

The waiter bowed and smiled before leaving Caroline.

Caroline : (confused)

Caroline was so speechless when she got to know the unknown guy paid for her drink and bought her a cake.Caroline examined the cake and her face deliberately changed .

Caroline : Blueberry cheesecake…

Caroline tried to search for the guy around but then he was not there at all.

Caroline : The only people who knows about my likings are the people in France.how did…

As Caroline was about to leave the café,suddenly the waiter just now walked towards her and handed her a dark blue pouch.

Waiter : The guy just now asked me to give this to you.He said you dropped it just now.

Caroline : Another one….(speechless)

Waiter : (smiles)

Caroline : Alright ,thank you…

Caroline quickly untied the blue pouch and she was frozen to find her missing purse and passport were in the pouch.How did it end up like that? No one knows.

Caroline : Tokyo,pleasebe nice to me(sigh).
