Chapter 100 - Caroline's

NEXT DAY

Mika was awake in her room and it was still early in the morning but she cant go back sleep.

Haruna : (coming out from the bathroom)

Mika : I think,Im gonna go visit Rina.

Haruna : (shocked) Eh?

Mika : Its been so long since I last been there.

Haruna : You want to accompany you Mika?

Mika : Its okay.You have work don’t you? I can go there by my own.

Haruna : (smirks) Or you can ask your beloved “fiancé” to accompany you~

Mika :……

Haruna : (staring at Mika)

Mika : Fiance? Who’s fiancé?

Haruna : (face palm) You just got proposed last night and you have forgotten about it!?

Mika : Oh  my god Im engaged…

Haruna : What am I gonna do with you Mika !I PITY SHINN NOW.

MEMORIAL PARK

Mika parked her bika near the gate and stared at the park for awhile before removing her helmet. She arranged her hair neatly and hopped off her bike.Mika walked slowly towards the gate and took a deep breathe before getting in.

As she was walking,she saw a lady kneeling infront of a tomb and as she walked closer,she seems to recognize the girl with the long black hair.

Mika : Juuka?

Juuka : (turned around)

Juuka quickly stood up and look at Mika

Juuka : Mika-chan...

Mika :…..

Juuka : (smiles) Its been so long since I last see you.How is everything?

Mika : Im..IM good.How about you?

Juuka: Im feeling better than ever.Are you here to see him?

Mika : My sister and him,too.

Juuka smiled and walked closer to Mika.

Juuka : IM done here and he is all yours Mika. Drop by my place anytime soon alright?

Mika : Ahh..congratulations on your first newborn baby Juuka (Smiles)

Juuka : Thank you Mika.Looking forwards for you turn soon (smiles)

Juuka bowed before walking away from Mika,heading to the main gate.Mika eyes Juuka until she cant be seen anymore.

Mika then walked towards Rina’s grave and took her time looking at the peaceful scene.

Mika : Ohayou,Rina.It’s been so long don’t you think? I hope you are not mad because I rarely come here to see you.In fact,I had been hre thousands time but I didn’t know you were here..all along. How are you up there? Pretty much the clouds and the sky are there accompanying you .I hope so….

Mika then swiftly sat infront of the tombstone and stare at the name engraved on it.

Mika : I have so many things to tell you but it wont be the same anymore… I miss hearing you disagreeing on my opinions on just about everything. We fought a lot when we were small right? But them,that was long time ago and things changed.You left…

Mika took a deep breath,holding back her tears and she closed her eyes trying to restrain from crying herself out.

Mika : Did you know that Shinn proposed to me? It happened so quickly that I never did see it coming. Never thought it will happen to me,so soon.But one thing Rina,I can promise you one thing. The thing we promised to do when we were small…  Do you remember? You used to tell me that if I finally grow up and found somebody that loves me more than you love  me, I should lower my ego and pour all the love for that person. Rina,you were always right and precise and now Im questioning why you left so soon..

Mika then put her right hand on the tomb and smiled.

Mika : I should go and see Kazuya for a while alright?

Mika slowly got up and walked towards Kazuya’s grave. She stopped a few steps behind and stared at it.

CAFE

Caroline : (sigh)

Haruna : Wait what? You never told us this one ..

Caroline : hmm…

Haruna : So wait,did that stupid Eiji just left you in the middle of the town ? After dumping you-- I mean rejecting you?

Caroline : I have never felt so humiliated in my life before that incident.Never did.It was the first and th last,I hope.

Haruna : What did Eiji-

Caroline : HE told me he found someone else.

Haruna : (speechless)

Caroline : (nodding)

Haruna : Just like that…?

Caroline : And that is why I was so reluctant to the guys you dated Haruna.And Hiro..and Shinn too.But I did try to loosen up for you both. You girls are all grown up.

Haruna : Wait… is this Eiji still living in France?

Caroline : And you are asking me that because…?

Haruna : Oh wait,how is it possible for you to know right…

Caroline : Exactly.

Haruna : Damn,all guys are basically the same…

Hiro : (cough)

Caroline and Haruna turned to Hiro when they heard the cough

Hiro : …Sorry to interrupt but just to make sure you girls remember that IM still here (grins)

Caroline : (laughing)

Haruna : (poke HIro)

Caroline : So yes that’s why.

Hiro : Eiji,in my opinion is one dumb ass. I mean like you cant be that selfish to actually dump someone in the middle of a date. Or maybe have that one lame reason just to dump someone.

Caroline : And you guys are questioning why I hate guys.And that’s excludes you both Hiro,and Shinn.I cant simply hate you both (lifting her eyebrows)

Hiro : I can live with that.

Caroline : So..

Haruna : So basically,you haven’t date anyone since Eiji?

Caroline : NO,have you seen me going out with any guys before, Haruna?

Haruna :….now that you mention it..not at all.

Caroline : Exactly.

Haruna : But how in the world did  you ended up with that Eiji?

Caroline : You can say that I was pretty much immature and stupid.Lost at the same time and I was a whole a 180 degrees reflection of myself now.

Haruna : (looking at Caroline)

Hiro :How did you get to know Shiki Takeru then?

Caroline : Like I mentioned earlier,he was my classmate.During my 1^st year of high school. Eiji and Shiki were bestfriends. Untill the day I enrolled,things changed but I don’t even know why. It makes me wonder how Shiki still stick to Eiji despite his attitude.

Hiro : Guys,you cant never understand them.

Haruna : Guys,you cant never understand us girls (smirks)

Hiro : Are you guys closed?

Caroline : Who? Shiki and me? We were never close.He always got in the way whenever I want to meet Eiji outside of school.He was always the one saying things about Eiji that I thought was all lies…but

Haruna : It was true?

Caroline : It turned out to be true and he was actually tryin to warn me.

Hiro : He was not warning you Caroline.He was protecting you.

Caroline who was sipping her juice quickly turned to Hiro.

Hiro who leaning on the chair ,leaned forwards and look at Caroline.

Caroline: Why would he try to protect me?

Hiro : Lets make it simple.Guys are the most egoistic creature in the world.Whatever that runs in their bloody minds sometimes cant be channeled out . So, sometimes,whatever that we want to do,people often misinterpret them and things goes messy in a blink.

Haruna : Too detailed…

Hiro : Its like this,it could be that Shiki had feelings for you or maybe he cares for you.He knows Eiji is gonna do something bad to you and that’s why he did all those things.Or maybe,they have something up,something you have not found out.

Caroline : …..

Haruna : I have never seen Caroline’s like this…

Caroline :…..

Haruna : You are spacing out Caroline…

Caroline : It whatever that Hiro said is true,then…

Hiro : We always have reasons for all of our actions right?

Caroline : Precisely.

Hiro : Then,you can apply that to this situation.

Caroline : DO we even have a situation…(lifting her eyebrows)

Haruna : Oh come on,I think I can conclude that Shiki is the good guy and Eiji is the bloody bad guy.How could he did that to you…

Hiro : It’s guys,Haruna.Guys.

Haruna : If you ever dump me,I’ll tell Mika.

Caroline :I would probably kill you first HIro.

Hiro : You expect me to dump someone like haruna? I must be out of my mind to do that.

Haruna : (chuckling )

Caroline : I need another glass of orange juice…
