Chapter 61 -Truth

Along the road…

Shinn : Is that shop?

Hiiro : Yes ,yes.I guess so.Sakurako said the first one when you turn here.

Shinn was looking straight at direction of Aya’s shop and saw the bike he really know.He suddenly stopped walking and his face changed abruptly. HIiro whom are still walking realized that Shinn has stopped quickly turned around to face him

Hiiro : Whats wrong?

Shinn: That bike.It is Mika’s.

Hiiro : Who,what?Who?

Shinn : The black bike.It’s Mika’s.She must be there.

Shinn quickly walked pass Hiiro to head to the Shop but then Hiiro stopped him

Hiiro : If she is there,are you sure you are ready to see her?

Shinn : Why would I wont be ready to see her?

Hiiro :To be exact, are you sure she wants to see you?

As Hiiro and Shinn were talking suddenly the door to Aya’s shop opened and Mika and Haruna went out to put out the garbage bags they are carrying in their hands.

Haruna : Oh come on Mika! You know you punched him too hard on the face just now.I thought his head was gonna came off his body!(laughing)

Mika : You are exaggerating Haruna .

Haruna was lifting the lid of the garbage can when she accidentally look towards Shinn and Hiro’s direction

Mika : Im gonna get the other one alright,you wait here.(went inside)

Haruna : ..Alright.alright.

Hiiro : *waving

Haruna : Oh I am dead now.(shocked)

Hiiro and Shinn walked towards Haruna and Haruna quickly closed the lid and wipe her hands on her apron.

Haruna : Why didn’t you guys call!?

Hiiro : we did,for almost 1000 times and I guess your phone is not with you?

Shinn : How are you Odera-san?(smiles)

Haruna :Im fine very very fine I--

Suddenly the door to Aya’s shop opened and Caroline was about to step out of the shop when she saw Hiiro and Shinn outside.

Caroline : Hah?

Haruna :Damn,where is Mika? I thought it was her..

Caroline : As a matter of fact,lucky you she is in the kitchen with Aya.Cooking-What the heck are you both doing here!?

Hiiro : A very warm welcome indeed.

Shinn : Mika is here.I know it.

Caroline : Chill dude,she is here.Her bike is here too.Anyway,cut the drama lets go inside.

Shinn and Hiiro hesitated at first about going inside when Mika is inside too,but Caroline insisted that they go in and Haruna followed them from behind

Haruna : Caroline!(whispering)

Caroline : We are literally dead now.

Hiiro sat at the table beside the window and Shinn sat infront of him.Shinn kept looking around searching for Mika.

Shinn : (looking around)

Haruna : Im gonna go to the kitchen alright…(shivering)              

Caroline : I wonder why they are no customers now (laughing)

Haruna : We need no audience for this one Caroline (smacks her head)

Haruna went straight to the kitchen and closed the door behind her.

Haruna : Aya-san!Have you seen-

Aya : She left.

Haruna : Wait,what?

Aya : Mika,she left.Just about  10 seconds ago

Aya was busy stirring the soup and Haruna quickly went to her

Haruna : Wait,what do you mean?

Aya : She came in here and went straight to the back door and puff she is gone.She didn’t say anything but she was in a rush.Now,what happened?

Haruna : Oh damn,she knew about this!

Haruna quickly run to the back door and she sees no sign of Mika.Haruna quickly ran to the dining area to tell Caroline

Caroline : Hold it girl,whats wrong?

Hiiro : You look like you just saw a ghost.

Suddenly they heard the sound of someone turning on the engine and all of them turned to look outside.To their surprise,the bike and the rider whom they can assume it was Mika,was gone in a flash.Shinn quickly went to the door but he was too late.Mika has already left .

Shinn : She went up to the right.The town.Do you know where is she going?

Caroline :Wait,she’s fast.

Haruna : She went out through the back door.Aya told me.

Hiiro : Where is she going?Wait,who is Aya?

Shinn : (looking at Haruna)

Haruna : I don’t know.I think she knew you guys are here.Oh damn it,this is a mess now.

Aya : So you are the Mizuhara Shinn ?(standing at the door frame)

Everyone turned to Aya as they heard her voice.Shinn and Hiiro’s eyes locked at the black short haired lady standing at the door frame,looking at them.

Haruna : Aya-san..

Aya : I may not know what is happening now.But certainly Mika knew you are here Mizuhara-san.

Shinn : Sorry for the interruption,and you are?

Aya : You can call me Aya.Im Mika’s friend(smiles) Close friend.

Hiiro : *bowing to Aya

Caroline :Did she tell you where is she going?

Aya : No,she just took her keys and went off.And I knew something must have happened.And here it is.

Shinn : Don’t take this the wrong way but --

Aya : No no I am not.Dont worry.5 days is enough to catch up Mizuhara-san.But what I know  is you are going after her no matter what.Unless you want me to cook you together with my chicken stock?(sarcastic tone)

Hiiro : …(gulps)

Haruna : Aya-san sounds scary (whispering to Caroline)

Caroline : I think Aya is no difference to Mika…(sigh)

Haruna :Well,she was a yankee back in high school remember..

Aya : Go Mizuhara-sa.I think you know where you can find her.Unless you want me to kick your ass off you better get moving and bring her back.

Shinn : (looking at Aya)

Aya walked towards Shinn and stood infront of him

Aya : She must really really care for you to be this hurt Mizuhara-san.And I guess you love her adequately to know where she might head to.

Hiiro : Wait,what are you saying?

Shinn looked at Aya with a puzzled face,trying to understand every word that came out from Aya’s mouth and when Aya turned around to go back to the kitchen,Shinn suddenly said..

Shinn :  The river.is there any park near a river here?

Aya : Up to the right and you’ll find a park just a few metres ahead.

Shinn : Thank you Aya-san!

Before anyone could ask him anything,Shinn quickly went out .

Hiiro : Damn Shinn!Wait!Where are you going?

Aya : I hope he didn’t get lost(laughing)

Haruna suddenly slumped herself on the chair and she was frozen,not saying anything at all.

Caroline : Now,this is a lot for a day.

Hiiro : Should I--

Caroline : Leave them Hiiro.You sit here and stay quiet.

Hiiro obediently sit infront of Haruna and rub the back of his head

Hiiro : Where is Shinn heading?

Haruna : Where she could find Mika of course.

Hiiro : How did she know we are here?

Caroline : It’s Mika you are talking about Hiiro.She knows everything

Haruna : (slumps her head on the table) Im gonna die die die die dieeee

Caroline : What in the world is wrong with you woman?

Haruna : Am I worrying too much or I am worrying too much?

Hiiro : You are worrying too much.

Haruna : (sigh)

Caroline : Considering Mika punched that guy just now,I hope she wont punch Shin (laughing)

Haruna : This is a serious matter Caroline.

Caroline : I know,I know.(laughing)

Hiiro : Mika punched someone today?(shocked)

Haruna and Caroline : (nodding)

Hiiro: And..?

Caroline : That guy bleeds his gums of course.

Hiiro : (shocked) Are you serious?

Haruna : (nodding)

Hiiro : I am still torn between going after them or just stay here.

Caroline :You don’t want to get in between them .Let them settle this once and for all.

Haruna : You made it sound so easy Caroline

Caroline : It had to be.Mika knows she cant run away forever.Dont you think?

Haruna : Im feeling all guilty now.

Hiiro : For telling us she is here?I doubt that Haruna.You are the help here.So don’t worry

Caroline : Hiiro is right Harunaaa.Dont worry.You did the right thing alright.You know Mika missed Shinn so bad right?

Haruna : I know but,what is Mika --

Hiiro : trust me,Shinn is going to bring Mika back.I can bet my life on that.

Caroline : Confidence.I like that(grins)

Haruna : On second thoughts….

Caroline : (removing her apron) No more second thoughts,lets go (grins)

Aya : Now,we are getting along!(chuckles)
