Chapter 70 - Memories

THE NEXT DAY

Mika was awake earlier than the two girls that she decided to go out for a dip at the onsen.

Mika : Such a good feeling .(dipping into the hot water)

Mika took her time in the onsen alone,she closed her eyes while resting her head on the wooden wall that separates the next door's onsen.

Suddenly she heard someone getting into the water from next door.She quickly turned around to look at the wooden wall separating the the two section of the hot spring and inspect every corner to make sure no one can see her there.They cant each other but with the open space,they can hear from the next door and since it’s early in the morning,it would be really quite.

Shinn : Good Morning.

Mika accidentally tripped when she heard Shinn’s voice from the opposite side of the wall

Mika : (laughing) good Morning.You are up early.

Shinn : Cant really get a sleep.Why are you up so early?

Mika : Consiering they have  a private onsen,taking a dip sounds good.

Shinn : How is Haruna?

Mika : Not really good.

Shinn : If you ever want to shoot Hiiro,remind me stop you(laughing)

Mika : What does that suppose to mean (annoyed)

Shinn : Just saying(laughing)

Mika: (small laugh)

Shinn : Such a good start of the day don’t you think?

Mika : A very very good start.

Shinn :Want to know something?

Mika : What?

Shinn took his time before finally speaking out.

Shinn :.....Don’t you think our fate are written on the same book?

Mika : ...our fate?

Shinn : Well,by looking at the time line.As if I was meant to meet you and eventually fall for you.

Mika :….

Shinn : And if you remember,years ago.Fate brought us really really close.

Mika : ....As in?

Shinn : (laughing) If you can remember, Rina and Kazuya ‘s ward were next to each other.BAck when they were admitted.

Mika : (shocked)

Shinn : Mika?Are you still there?

Mika : Yes,yes.I am here.They were?

Shinn : (smiles) Yes.

Mika : So,you were the guy who bumped into me that day.....

Shinn : (laughing)When you were about to turn around after closing the door? Yes yes.You are the girl with the black jacket indeed.

Mika : You remember such details.

Shinn : I remember how long your hair that time Mika.And your hair color.

Mika : What was my hair color back then?

Shinn : Same as now Mika.

Mika : How can you remember that kind of details?

Shinn : I guess something about you is the reason.

Mika : (smiled)

Shinn : Fate really was playing with us back then .

Mika : And if you can remember,I saw you back at the memorial park.

Shinn : We did Mika.I remember you clearly now.

Mika : Didn’t know that ,that time it was not our first meeting nor our last.

Shinn :Well,like people always say,fate is unexpected.

Mika : Very very unexpected.

Shinn : So does love.

Mika whom were rubbing her right hand with her small wet towel stopped and look up when Shinn said that.She was started by the last word and her face suddenly changed.

Shinn : Can you promise me one thing?

Mika :……

Shinn : Mika?

Mika : (panicked) Aaa..Im here.What is it?

Shinn : Promise me that you wont run away from me again.

Mika : (shocked)…..

Shinn : Can you do that?

 Mika hesitated at first,but with that statement coming from Shinn,she cant seem to find her voice to answer him,but then,she breathed in slowly and let it out before finally finding her voice.

Mika : It’s a deal then.

Shinn : (laughed)

Mika : I guess you win this time.(laughing)

Suddenly.....

Caroline : HA!!!!!!CAUGHT YOU GUYS!!!!!

Haruna : Heh….romantic morning indeed!!!

Mika quickly turn to Caroline and Haruna whom were listening and peeping them from the sliding door that separates the outdoor and the indoor and her face abruptly changed when she saw both of the girls grinning at her.

Haruna : Yare…yare… Shinn!?Shinn?

Shinn : I am here.

Caroline : Shinn Shinn.You are so wicked.Flirting with your own girlfriend early in the morning eh? (sarcastic tone)

Haruna : Thank god for the  wooden wall.(laughing)

Mika : Shut it you girls.Im done.

Caroline : Whoa,whoa…wait wait.Where do you think you are going.Not a chance for you to changed the topic Mika.Not a chance.We are coming in and Shinn,you can go out now.We are gonna have some girly talk.

Haruna : (laughing)

Caroline : And no,you can eaves drop.Go back to your room and close the door (chuckling)

Haruna : As if we own the inn (laughing)

Mika : (sigh) You guys…

Caroline : Alright,lets bath!
