Chapter 68 - Haruna

SAKURAKO INN

Haruna sat at the komatsu,warming herself after the long walk from Aya’s shop.Her mind were in a mess and she cant think of anything after what had happened just now.The scene where Hiiro’s face suddenly changed when he got the call ran in her head and she was really curious about everything.

Haruna : (slumps her head on the table) Why am I even thinking about it.

Haruna actually fell asleep and it was while until suddenly there was a knock on the door but she didn’t realize

Hiiro : Eh?It is not even locked?

Hiiro slowly opened the door and the first thing he saw was Haruna sleeping at the komatsu,with her head on the table.

Hiiro : I am coming in..eh,she is asleep.

Hiiro slided the door close and placed the two bags at the corner of the room.He turned to Haruna and look at her.

Hiiro : She didn’t even turn the heater on,what was she thinking.

Hiiro searched for the switch at the komatsu but he accidentally touched Haruna’s cold hand.

Hirro : Oh my god,why is she so cold?SHe is gonna get sick like this

Hiiro abruptly  took of his jacket and put them around her shoulder before going out.

Hiiro : That should keep her warm I guess.(smiles)

Hiiro went to his room and start to pack his stuff,he needs to rush to Tokyo to meet Tsubaki. Amano Tsubaki was his previous girlfriend 3 years back,but they split when Tsubaki decided to moved to London to expand her career as a model and Hiiro strongly opposed that.Tsubaki insisted that she want to go and that was the reason both of them called off their relationship.But it was Tsubaki's decision to call it off at the first place.

Hiiro took his phone and tapped on Shinn’s name.

Hiiro : Shinn?

Shinn : Hiiro?Yes ?What's up?

Hiiro : Im taking the next flight to Tokyo.Tsubaki is back

Shinn :…Tsubaki?(shocked)

Hiiro : I need to rush.I’ll call you when Im in Tokyo.

Shinn : Are you sure about this?

Hiiro : I don’t and don’t worry.I’ll deal with this .Have fun with Mika!

Hiiro ended the call and let out a sigh before continuing his packing.

While on the other side…

Shinn : She is back?

Mika whom are looking at the shelves of mugs turned to Shinn

Mika : Who?

Shinn : Tsubaki-san..

Mika : Tsubaki?

Shinn : Hiiro’s ex girlfriend

Mika : What?

Shinn : Amano Tsubaki.

Mika : Isnt that the name of the Emoda Model?Wait,how the heck do I know that.

Shinn : (laughing) Yes,we are talking about that one and only Emoda Model with the name Tsubaki.

Mika then went to the magazine section and took one of the magazine and showed it to Shinn.

Mika : This Tsubaki?

Shinn looked at the front page of An An magazine,featuring Tsubaki and another model dressed in one of the latest designs by the the well-know fashion brand,Emoda.

Shinn : Yes,this Tsubaki.

Mika : They were together?(looking at the front page)

Shinn : They were.But I don’t why she came back.

Mika : Where did she go?

Shinn : She went to London for her modeling work.So they split up.

Mika : She basically run away ?(confused)

Shinn took the magazine from Mika’s hand put it back.

Shinn : You ran away too and remember that (laughing)

Mika : Fine(annoyed)

Shinn : But,now that we are here.What were you searching  for?

Mika : I don’t even know.

Suddenly Mika’s eyes spot a magazine with a familiar face on the front cover.

Mika : Now now,look who do we have here.

Mika went to the shelf and took the magazine out .

Mika : Don’t you think this guy look familiar?

Mika showed the magazine to Shinn and after he took a look,he suddenly burst out laughing and poked Mika’s waist.

Shinn : You don’t need a cover of me Mika.I am here infront of you.

Mika : Why are you featured in all magazine.Dont they have any younger faces?

Shinn : Well,I guess my face is charming enough to have them  featuring me this month.

Mika : (sarcastic laugh) I guess..not. Anyway,when are you going back to your place?

Shinn : The inn?

Mika : Yes.

Shinn : Maybe after this…why?You want to tag along?(grinning)

Mika : I want to but excuse me not for you,Im having this bad feeling I don’t even know why.I guess I want to check on Haruna.

Shinn : Then,lets go?

Mika : Can we buy something for her first?

Shinn turned to Mika and smiles.

Shinn : Why do I get the feeling you are going to be such a kind and warm mother?

Mika : (pinched Shinn’s waist) Stop flirting Shinn.Walk.

Shinn : I am not joking(laughing)

Mika : Is there any waffle shop here?Haruna loves waffle.

When Mika was about to turn to her left,suddenly she saw Caroline walking towards the opposite direction and Mika quickly called out for her.

Mika : Caroline!

Caroline whom are busy puffing waffles into her mouth stopped walking and turned to Mika.

Caroline : Oowwwwhhh.Muiiiikawww.(mouth full of waffle)

Mika : What the heck are you saying,finish your waffle first.

Caroline : (chewing fast) I..wait..haa done!

Mika : Where is Haruna?

Caroline : She went back to the Inn earlier with Hiiro.But,I don’t feel good so I am going back now.

Mika : Where did you get that?

Caroline : This?

Mika : The waffles yes.

Caroline : That small stall there,they have all kind of waffles that I cant hold back.I bought 5 of them.Maybe  I can give some to Haruna…

Mika : I don’t feel good too though.Why don’t we go together?

Caroline : Why not! Eh?Where is your Shinn?

Shinn : I am here,I am here.I bought something warm.(showing the taiyaki he bought)

Mika : Something warm?

Shinn : For Haruna?

Caroline : (staring at Shinn) Now,I get it .

Mika : What?

Caroline : Why you fell for him (laughing)

Mika : Oh shut it Caroline.Lets go.

Shinn : You got that right Caroline.
