Chapter 111 - Bonjour Paris!

THE NEXT DAY

Mika : I cant call her.

Haruna : HEH!?Wait,let me try.

Haruna reached for her phone and tap on Caroline’s number.She waited for a while but she was unable to reach her,not at all.

Haruna : (sigh)

Mika : No?

Haruna : NO.

Mika : Just what the heck is wrong with this girl.I am mad now.Really mad (annoyed)

Haruna : hmmmm…..

Mika looked at Haruna and at the same time Haruna was looking at Mika.

Mika : How about ....a vacation to Paris for a few days?

Haruna : You read my mind (winks)

Mika : (laughing)

Haruna : Pretty sure a Paris getaway wont harm….

Mika : Can we get any flights today?

Haruna : Let me do the bookings.

Mika : I’ll go and tell Oka-san.

Haruna : OKAY NOW I AM SO EXCITED!IMPROMPTU VACATION EVERYONE!BONJOUR PARIS!

 2 DAYS LATER

MORNING

Gare de Lyon TRAIN STATION

Mika : (pulling down her shades) Would you look at that….

Haruna : Are we that short or my boots is just too short.Or I am that short?

Haruna kept looking from right to left,observing all the people walking to all directions at the train station.

Mika : Stop doing that Haruna.You’ll scare them off.

Haruna : But these girls are so damn tall and their hair.It’s like looking at many versions of Caroline.

Mika took out the map from her bag and tried to find their way to Caroline’s hotel.Lucky them,Haruna and her were there helping Caroline booking her hotel room for her stay.

Mika kept staring at the map trying to understand the map but seems like she is just too lost in this city of Paris.

Shinn : (pointing at the map)There.

Mika : (looking up)

Shinn : (lifting his eyebrows)

Mika : I almost forgot about you tagging along.

Shinn just smiled at Mika and hand her a cup coffee.

Shinn : Here’s your coffee.

Hiro : And this is yours ( at Haruna)

Mika : Now what.

Shinn : Let me ask around.

Haruna : You speak French?

Hiro : Watch us (winks)

Shinn and Hiro leisurely went to one of the guards standing not far from them and casually spoke in French to ask about the directions.

Mika whom were holding the map and her shades  that is pushed down to her lower nose bridge looked at Shinn and Hiro with a very unreadable expression.

Haruna :That’s your future husband,Mika.

Mika : That’s the father of your child in the future,Haruna.

Haruna : I don’t believe them..

Mika : (folding the map )

Shinn : It’s just a walking distance from here.Our luck that we only bring our personal backpacks so we can just walk.

Mika and Haruna just look at Shinn and Hiro as they were talking to them and preparing themselves to walk.

Hiro : (looking at Haruna) Anything wrong Haruna?

Haruna : You can speak French?

Shinn : (laughing)

Hiro : I can speak French,don’t you know it? (smirks)

Shinn in a swift smack Hiro’s head with the little book with “ 101 Guide in France; Directions and Greetings” book.

Shinn : The only thing you know is “ French Fries”.

Haruna : (staring at Hiro)

Mika : Now that make sense.

Shinn : Can we make a move now? And Mika,did you manage to reach Caroline?

Mika: No.Not at all.

Shinn : We’ll try again when we reached the hotel okay.Dont worry.

Mika : Pretty sure I’ll be the first one to kill her.

Shinn : Not gonna doubt that (laughing)
