LIVING ROOM

Shinn was standing at the balcony looking at the view outside of the suite.Embracing the wind coming from the ocean.Shinn kept smiling as he remembers what happened just now and he knew he cant stop smiling till then.Suddenly he heard the door opened and turned around to see Mika coming out of the room.

Mika : This is going to--

Shinn : be Fun.        

 

Mika quickly turned around when she heard Shinn’s voice.

Shinn : (smiling)

Mika : You know I have to get use to this.

Shinn : What?

Mika : Nevermind.

Shinn : (leaning close) Having me around?

Mika : I have been working for you for almost 7 months,I am used to having you around now

Shinn : I mean having me around after what happened?(grinning)

Mika : Alright,you have to stop talking now.

Shinn laughed as Mika said that he knew Mika is trying to conceal her nervousness because for the first time ever Mika did not look straight at his face when she said that.

Mika : What are waiting for?Lets go?

Shinn : Wait wait wait.

Shinn quickly stopped Mika and took her right hand.Shinn took a ring out of his pocket and swiftly put it on Mika’s finger ring.Mika froze as Shinn did that her hand actually trembled when Shinn put the ring on her finger.

Shinn : You cant ever remove that ring.Dont ever try.

Mika actually tried to conceal her smile and laugh but abrupty burst out laughing  as Shinn said that.

Mika : Im so sorry I have to laugh.Didnt know that you are this romantic.

Shinn : (lean close to Mika) Wait,till you see the rest of it.I am pretty much the modern time Romeo.

Mika : OH cut the crap Shinn.Lets go.

IN THE CAR

Shinn rented a car for their trip to Emi’s place.He refused to have Emi’s driver pick them up because he prefers spending his time alone with Mika.

Mika : How far is Emi-san’s place from the town?

Shinn : 30 minutes or less.

Mika looked at Shinn as he was driving and she thought that Shinn looks very cool while doing that,and she didn’t realize she was looking at him all the time.

Shinn : Cant get enough of me yet?

Mika : (snaped out) Oh shut up Shinn.

Mika turned her head and look out of the windows

Mika : I have a question.

Shinn : Ask me anything.

Mika : I cant really digest everything you said yet,that why. Why me?

Shinn : Why I fell for you?

Mika : I was trying not to mention that word and you mentioned it.

Shinn : I knew it.

Mika : Okay fine.

Shinn : Does love need a reason?

Mika turned to look at as he said that.

Mika : (smiling) Well then--

Shinn : And I know you are still lost because it was so sudden.Take your time Mika.I am not going anywhere.(smiles)

Mika : I really really have to get used to this side of you.(laughing)

Shinn : You know what Hiiro told me when I asked him about this.

Mika : Hiiro?

Shinn : I actually asked him what should I do to make you fall for me.

Mika : (laughed) You did?!

Shinn : He told me to  make you laugh

Mika : Hiro is a good teacher I guess.

Shinn : But then  after a week I told him “How do I make her laugh so the she falls for me because when she laughs,I was the who fall for her”

Mika : …

Shinn gave a quick glance to Mika before taking her hands and hold them with his left hand,while his right hand on the steering.

Mika : You are not gonna make me fall harder don’t you?

Shinn : I am planning to.(grinning)

Mika : Oh shut it Shinn.

EMI’S MANSION

Emi : Welcome!welcome!

Shinn : Are we late?

Emi : No No !Just  on the right time!The maid got the food ready outside,and I was about to call you!Hello Mika!(smiling)

Mika : *bowing

Emi : Why do you look like you just got out of th sauna room?Is the weather too hot outside?

Mika : Eh?No No no.nothing.

Shinn : (looking at Mika and grin)

Mika : Don’t start.

Emi : *cough .Alright,lets go out to the garden!Come come come!

GARDEN

Emi : (sipping her tea) So how do you like Kyoto Mika-san?

Mika : Kyoto? I think Im gonna like this place.Especially the beach I guess.

Shinn : Only the beach ?

Mika : (staring at Shinn)

Emi : Shinn,would you help me get the fruits from the kitchen?I think the maid forgot to bring it here.

Shinn : NO problem.

Shinn stood and went the kitchen.Emi peek a little and as Shinn got inside she quickly turned to Mika.

Emi : Are you guys seeing each other??(grinning)

Mika : (spurted her tea)

Emi : Oh my god,here here take a tissue!

Mika : I am so so sorry (wiping her face with the tissue Emi gave)

Emi : I’ll take that as a yes?

Mika No no of course not,why would you think of that?

Emi : Are you sure…

Mika : Yes,of course?

Mika was breathing so hard because she didn’t know what to say or how to explain to Emi.

Emi : (smiling at Mika) I think Shinn really really love you then,Mika-san.

Mika : …why did you say that?

Emi : My mother’s ring is now on your finger.

Mika : (shocked)

Mika quickly looked at the ring on her finger and looked at Emi.

Emi : It belongs to you now.

Mika : Wait,wait.this was Shinn’s mother’s ?

Emi : It’s a tradition Mika-san.The ring actually belongs to the first generation of our family.And since Shinn is the only son,our late mother gave it to him.And it will only goes t the finger of a special one.And I wont question why you.

Mika : (speechless)

Emi : I am glad that Shinn chose you Mika-san. I can see it.The way he looked at you.It’s none like the others. And you can never doubt a guy when you know how he looked at you when you weren’t looking. One of the ways to tell if a guy is in love is to watch him looking at the girl. And you must trust me when I say,I knew it all along.

Mika : All along?

Emi : Months ago,I insisted that he marry But then he said he will think about it.And I knew,there is something bugging him that made him say that. And Shinn has been really really heart broken when the one he loved before died.I suppose he told you about this?

Mika : He did.Yes.

Emi : He had not been himself after that. Trust me if I could exchange my life with that girl,I would have done it.I have never seen Shinn laughed like he did when the girl were still alive. And how I missed seeing that until you appeared in his life.

Before Mika could say anything,they heard Shinn’s and Ryu’s voice from the door and both of them quickly changed the topic.

Ryu : Well well,this must be the Mika  ?

Mika : *bowing.

Ryu : I am Ryu,Emi’s husband or you can say Shinn’s beloved brother in law.

Mika : Nice to meet you (smiling)

Shinn took the seat beside mika as Ryu took his seat earlier.

Ryu : So,when are you two getting married?

Mika : (shocked)

Emi : (poked Ryu) Too fast Ryu!Too fast

Ryu : Wait,what? Both of you are in love and have confessed--wait,you did that already right?The confession part?

Mika was speechless when Ryu randomly asked the question and Shinn just kept laughing when Mika does not know what to answer nor what to do that time.

Emi : Ryu!Come one,they are still at their early state(whispering)

Ryu : Well,well well.Why not get married early?He loves her,she loves him.And why not?Dont you think Shinn?

Shinn : I have no problem.

Mika : You better have no problem when I finally can kick you into the pool.

Ryu and Emi burst out laughing hearing Mika’s response to Shinn’s answer and both of them completely agreed about that.

Ryu : I like you already Mika-sa.

Emi : I told you would like her.

Shinn :I have no problem getting into the pool,I am not scared of the water.(grinning)

Mika : Shut up.
