Chapter 51- The meet up

Mika spent about an hour there and realized she actually ordered 3 same drinks and realized that she was there too long.Mika paid for her drinks and quickly got out of the café while her helmet in her hands.

Mika went to her bike and got onto it.She quickly put on her helmet and rode further up heading towards the main part of the town.As she was riding,she passed two girls walking at the sidewalk and she quickly stopped a few metres infront of them and the sudden break made a very loud sound that the girls quickly stopped walking and look ahead

Mika turned around took a glance at the two girls walking and she turned back and continued riding towards the north.

Caroline : Wait,wait,was that Mika?

Haruna : But,her helmet is black that one is white…wait..

Caroline :Wait,that was Mika.I know how her bike looks like.

Haruna : Did she buy a new helmet?

Caroline : Wait,if that was Mika I am so gonna kill her for not stopping to talk to us!

Haruna : Whatever it is,walk faster!

Caroline : I cant believe this,if that was Mika.I am gonna kick her and and and

Haruna : Keep walking Caroline!

Mika stopped at the junction near the town and leaned on her bike waiting for the two girls to actually arrive at her spot.Mika smiled when she saw Caroline’s face through her side mirrors when she ignored them

Mika : I am so doomed now.(laughing)

Caroline and Haruna were already approaching the town and as they were walking they saw someone were there leaning on the black bike they saw earlier and as they got closer,they could finally make up the face of the girl infront of them

Mika : *waving

Haruna : Oh my god,it was her!(panting)

Caroline : Mother of all planets.Mika I am going to kill you!!

Mika laughed when Caroline said that while running towards her

Haruna followed Caroline and she quickly gave Mika a long hug .

Caroline : I don’t care,I am joining this cold hug.

They three hugged for a while because it’s been too long since they last met.

Haruna : Mika!Oh my god,I miss you so much.How are you!?You look healthier and happier?....Happier?

Caroline : For sure,she looks alive now.What the heck happened to you?We cant reach you and you didn’t even stop when you saw us?Wait,you stopped but then you ignored us and you don’t even give us a call and what the heck did you think by leaving an not telling us where did you and(inhaling)

Haruna : Caroline,breath in breath out chill!

Mika : Breath breath.Well,you found me didn’t you?

Caroline : Hell yes,we did and thank god Haruna found the photos and I jeorpadize my trust and trust her instinct about coming here!

Haruna :You doubted me!?

Caroline : Wait,no.I didn’t(laughing)

Haruna : Put that aside and now you Mika.Mika you!What happened to you?

Mika : (looking at herself) I am..alive?And here standing infront of my loud friends as they babble stuffs?

Haruna : (laughing) You look better now.

Mika : Come,lets get inside that shop.We cant talk here,outside right?

CAFÉ

Caroline : You went straight to Osaka?

Mika  : Yes.

Haruna : On your bike?In this cold weather!?

Mika : Yes.

Caroline : Are you crazy?How long did you spend on the road?!

Mika : Well,triple the time you spent on the bullet train.Maybe less.

Haruna : Oh my god,you must be crazy.

Mika : I swear I am straight now.

Haruna :So,you were with Aya the whole time?

Mika : Yes,I am staying at her shop until today.

Caroline : I am so relieved to see you fit and healthy and goodness,I cant believe we finally found you.

Haruna : Chill Caroline,drink your soup first.

Mika : So,when did you guys arrive?

Haruna : Yesterday morning.We took the earlier train that morning.Caroline didn’t even sleep the night before.

Caroline : I was excited to ride the train!

Haruna : Alright alright,So how are you?

Mika : Im fine.I am so happy to be in Osaka for now.

Haruna : I actually imagined you having swollen eyes and messy hair like last week (laughing)

Caroline :Well,you look so fine Mika.I am so glad about tthis.

Mika : Aya has been a great help these past few days.I am well enough living here.

Haruna : Have you eased your mind?

Mika : (nodding)

Haruna : Are you sure about this?

Mika : Yes.

Caroline : We met Shinn that day

Mika : And?

Haruna : You want to hear about it?

Mika : You want to tell me?

Caroline : (looking at Mika) Are you going to see him?

Mika : Does he know I am here?

Haruna : No,we didn’t tell him.We didn’t even tell Hiiro .

Mika : Thank you.I don’t think I am ready to see him.

Caroline : for 5 days,what happened to you oh my god…

Mika : Caroline,you have asked me the same thing more than 4 times (laughing)

Haruna : Where is your phone?

Mika : Safe in the drawer in my room back in Aya’s shop.

Caroline : (sigh)

Haruna : I have something to tell you.

Mika : I know,go ahead.

Caroline : When we met Shinn ,I think it was  day before yesterday.We saw him while we were on our way from the train station from Nagasaki.Well, to go there you actually passed the memorial park right?

Mika : (nodding)

Haruna : We saw him and I seriously thought it was a ghost…

Mika : A ghost?

Caroline : Literally,he looks super pale and super dry that I instantly offered my lip balm.NO joke.I did.

Haruna : The point is when we asked him why was he there,during the time when nobody usually goes there.Mika,it was around dawn and that place is usually closed.

Caroline : Don’t forget to mention about that place is kinda isolated but we decided to pass by that place just because Haruna wanted the takoyaki along the way.

Haruna : Well,if I didn’t crave for that we wouldn’t bump into him Caroline.

Caroline : Alright,alright,lets go straight to the point.We asked him and then he said he was there for almost 5 hours.

Mika : 5..5 hours?

Haruna : Do you want to know what he did there?

Mika : ….?

Haruna : He was kneeling infront of Rina’s grave.

Caroline : And also Kazuya’s.

Mika : (shocked)What..?

Haruna : I knew you would give me that look.

Caroline : Well,we were shocked ourselves Mika. I don’t know what this will give you but…

Mika : What was he thinking anyway.

Haruna : Don’t you want to see him?

Mika : No.

Caroline : Not yet?

Mika : Not yet.

Haruna : I know how you feel.Well,maybe I can say I understand.You cant just go back to him after everything happened.It would be crazy.Even crazier when it is about you (laughing)

Mika : Thank you for coming all the way from Tokyo anyway.I was waiting for you girls though.

Caroline : You knew we were coming?

Mika : Well,this kind of thing happened before(grins)

Haruna : (looking at Mika)

Haruna knew that Mika needs time to regain back her will and go back to Tokyo.After all,everything that had happened in Tokyo clearly gave her a very big impact physically and emotionally.And she knew Mika herself does not know what to do next when everything is a mess and none can be done,just yet.

Mika : Did you quit your job Haruna?

Haruna spurted her juice when Mika suddenly asked her that.

Caroline : Sweet Neptune,how did you know?

Mika : She woulndt be here is she didn’t quit her job.Right?

Haruna : Good god,yes I quit.Was planning to quit though.Caroline offered to work at her restaurant (grinning)

Caroline : Since this Haruna is very good in managing stuff,why don’t I just ask her to work with me though.

Mika : This is one good news.Should have done it earlier.

Caroline : well,I was not paying attention to the restaurant that much before so…

Haruna : Anyway,we are staying at the sakurako inn.

Mika : The one with the big tree infront of it?

Haruna : Yes!

Caroline : As a matter of fact,this morning…did you pass by the inn?

Mika : I think I did.

Haruna : We heard you.

Mika : (laughing) You mean,you heard the bike?

Caroline : I knew it was your bike (laughing)

Mika : Anyway,where are you going after this?

Caroline : Well,we don’t know.

Haruna : We just thought of coming here to se eyou or maybe drag you back home to Tokyo as soon as possible

Mika : I don’t think the later one is possible,yet.

Caroline : How about if we stop by Aya’s place for dinner?

Mika : Sounds perfect!I’ll see you girls there then!

ODERA RESIDENCE

Tsuzuku : They what?

Minami : They went to Osaka,yesterday morning.Haruna didn’t tell you?

Tsuzuku : Wait,she didn’t (annoyed)

Minami : Did she tell you Meisa?

Meisa : ….Haruna actually did..

Tsuzuku : (turned to Meisa) And you didn’t tell me?

Minami : (laughing) Well,she was planning to keep it a secret I guess that’s why

Meisa : Haruna asked me no to tell you until she found Mika.

Tsuzuku : Did that dj girl followed her?

Minami : Caroline?Yes they went there together.Caroline wanted to take the bullet train.

Meisa : We don’t have to worry much about them.Just give her a call alright Tsuzuku?

Tsuzuku : (leaning on the couch) You girls are driving me crazy

Meisa and Minami: (laughing)

Minami : Are you guys having dinner here?

Meisa : Are you cooking Oka-san?

Minami : Why don’t we order pizza?Since there is only three of us?

Tsuzuku: Sounds great.

Meisa : You and your love for pizza.(poked Tsuzuku)

Tsuzuku : Don’t worry,pizza is number 2.You are the first one.

Meisa : (laughing) I’ll call alright!
