AFTER DINNER

Shinn and Ryu were talking to each other beside the pool while Emi and Mika were in the living room with 

Emi’s daughters.

Emi : You do love kids don’t you?

Mika : I really really love them.I could just spend the whole day with them,but not at the ocean.(laughing)

Emi : Wait here  for a while,Im gonna asked the maid to bring them upstairs to bath and get ready for sleep

Mika : Alright.

Emi went to the kitchen with Akina and Myu for a while before getting back into the living room.

Emi : So,Mika-san.Why makes you like Shinn?

Mika : ...What made me like him?

Emi : (nodding) I am so so curious that somebody would love my annoying brother,literally (laughing)

Mika : (thinking) I don’t think there is a specific reason…it happened just like that.Like in a blink and I don’t even realized it.

Emi : Very honest answer.

Mika : Is that a compliment?

Emi : A very very great compliment.(laughing)

Mika : But Emi-san....

Emi : Yes yes?

Mika : I know I shouldn’t be saying this…but..It happened too sudden that I cant really brain them yet,even until now. It feels like my body is refusing to understand any of them.Is that normal or is it just me.

Emi : (laughed) It’s normal Mika -san.Shinn would do anything just to make sure people understand what is he doing and what is he saying.I guess he must be taking lessons from my husband.

Mika : Your husband?

Emi : Do you know that Ryu confessed to me the first day we met and I don’t even know his name yet that time?

Mika : Seriously?

Emi : I thought it was very  stupid and annoying at first,I mean like come one,you are walking to class on a usual Monday morning and suddenly a guy just walked up to you and boom! He told you he like you and he told that he wont let you go away and he told you that he is in love with and he is gonna do anything to make you love him?

Mika : (laughing) Oh my god,I cannot imagine that one ,just yet.

Emi : But,in the end love wins,always.(smiling)It will take time but not as long as me, as you already in love with him,right?

Mika : I --

Emi : I know you are having doubts on Shinn but,believe me.Shinn would not do anything that would hurt you. And trust me when I say he wont.He would never ever let you down.And if he did,he wont run away and let you face it alone.He will be there.No matter what.

Emi went closer to Mika and hugged her tightly.

Emi : I really hope you would do the same to my brother Mika.He had enough of disappointment in his life.

Mika : You don’t have to worry about that Emi-san.

Emi : Thank you Mika(smiles)

THE NEXT DAY

Shinn was sound asleep on the ouch in the living room and suddenly his phone fell from his hand that he abruptly woke up.

Shinn : It’s just 7,and I am already awake.

Shinn went to check on Mika but then he realized the room is locked.

Shinn : Still sleeping I guess.I better shower now

Mika  was already awake but she was sitting by the windows,spacing out because the view outside are really breathtaking.She took a peek at her phone and saw the time.

Mika : It’s already 8?I thought it was 7!?

Mika slowly twist the door’s knob and and took a peek.She then went out and look around,as she was about to closed the door,she heard a sound from the balcony.

Mika : Eh?

Mika walked towards the balcony and saw Shinn at the balcony,looking at the beach.Mika was about to turn around but then Shinn heard her.

Shinn : I heard you Mika.

Mika : (shocked)..

Shinn : Come lets,go out for breakfast?

Mika : Breakfast?

Shinn : Why,you don’t want to have breakfast?

Mika : No no no no.It’s just.

Shinn : Why?You don’t want to eat?

Mika : No no,its not that.

Shinn : Are you sick?

Mika : Of course not.

Shinn : (laughed) Then,what is it?Or you don’t want to have breakfast with me?Or--

Mika : Okay,you can stop talking now.Lets go.

Shinn : (laughed)What am I gonna do with you.

Shinn and Mika walked to the streets while searching for a suitable place to have breakfast.Shinn asked if Mika had anything in mind .

Shinn : Why don’t we try something western?Maybe some bacons and omelette.Sounds nice?

Mika : Oh that’s a good idea.

Shinn : Great,I think I saw one café near that end.Come.

Shinn grabbed Mika’s hand and walked to the café he mentioned .As they were walking,Mika looked around and suddenly she saw Tsuzuku.She panicked and quickly pulled Shinn to stand infront of her so that she can hide

Mika : Oh shit(hiding behind Shinn)

Shinn : Mika?What are you doing?What what?

Mika : Hide me!Hide me.

Shinn : (laughing) Why why,what happened??

Mika :Stop talking and hide me Shinn!

Shinn looked in front of him and he sees nothing but people walking around minding their own business.

Mika : Why must he be here in Kyoto!

Tsuzuku turned around as he can feel someone he knew is there,and he looked at Shinn’s and Mika ‘s direction.

Tsuzuku :  Mizuhara Shinn? Eh if he is here,Mika would be here too.

Tsuzuku turned around and suddenly he saw Mika and he laughed when he realized Mika is actually hiding from him.He then walked towards Shinn and greeted him.

Tsuzuku : Pardon me,but you must be Mizuhara Shinn right?

Shinn : Yes yes.I am .

Tsuzuku : Mika,you can stop hiding now.

Shinn was puzzled when Tsuzuku called Mika out and they look like they knew each other

Mika : Good Morning,Tsuzuku.

Tsuzuku : Good Morning my lovely Mika.I didn’t know that you will be around here at this time (sarcastic tone)

Mika : I didn’t expect to meet you here.

Shinn : And you must be?

Tsuzuku : Oh sorry,I am Tsuzuku,Mika’s beloved--

Tsuzuku stopped at looked at Mika and Shinn.

Shinn : Beloved?

Tsuzuku : Beloved man of  her life

Shinn : Beloved man of her life? What do you mean by that?

Mika : Tsuzuku please shut up.

Tsuzuku : Didn’t Mika tell you about me?

Tsuzuku went to Mika and put his arm around Mika’s shoulder.

Shinn : She most certainly didn’t,at all.

Tsuzuku : OH really Mika,you didn’t tell him about us?

Mika knew Tsuzuku is just playing around she is just too lazy to care.

Shinn : Mika-san?

Tsuzuku : I am  heart broken that you didn’t tell him about us.(grinning)

Suddenly a girl came to them and called for Tsuzuku

Meisa : Tsuzuku!I was searching for you,why did you leave me alone ?

Shinn : (puzzled face)

Meisa : eh!Mika-san! Didn’t expect to see you here!

Shinn : ….

Mika : How are you Meisa?.I didn’t expect you both here too.(smiles)

Tsuzuku cant hold his laughed as Shinn looked very very lost and he seems to be out of place.

Tsuzuku : Im so sorry Mizuhara-san.I am Odera Tsuzuku.And this is my fiancé,Katagawa Meisa.

Meisa : Katagawa Meisa-des.(smiling)

Shinn : Mizuhara Shinn des.Nice to meet you.

Mika :He is Haruna’s brother.

Shinn :Odera-san.Oh yes yes.Now I remember.

Tsuzuku : So,what are you guys doing here in Kyoto?

Mika : Work.

Meisa : Eh?Work?

Mika : (nodding)

Tsuzuku : Can I believe that one Mika-san?

Mika : Up to you.

Shinn : Are you guys here for holiday?

Meisa : As a matter fact,this is my hometown.

Tsuzuku : We are staying at Meisa’s parents’s house.

Mika : How can I missed that fact.Alright,we’ll see you both anytime soon.

Shinn : Nice meeting you Odera-san,Katagawa-san(smiling)

Tsuzuku : Take good care of my sister alright,Mizuhara-san.

Tsuzuku and Meisa bowed before leaving Shinn and Mika.

Mika : Such an annoying brother (sigh)

Shinn : For a second I thought--

Mika : You don’t need to say that word.

Shinn : Indeed.

Mika : I would marry a goat .

Shinn : What if you have to choose between that one lucky goat and a dashing handsome man like m?

Mika : I am hungry.Lets go eat (ignoring Shinn)

Shinn : (laughed) I knew you would say that.
